Kanye West Splurges Thousands on Massive Private Pokémon Card Shopping Spree for His Kids
The rapper rented out an entire specialty hobby shop to treat his children to an exclusive, high-end shopping trip.
Kanye West recently turned an ordinary family outing into a lavish shopping spree, dropping thousands of dollars on Pokémon cards for his children.
The artist reportedly took his kids to LA Sports Cards in Burbank, California, where the store was completely shut down and emptied out to give the family private, uninterrupted access to the inventory.
According to sources close to the outing, the kids were thrilled by the grand gesture, excitedly tearing open packages and loading up on rare collectibles. The specialty hobby shop later shared its appreciation on social media, posting photos and writing, “It’s always a pleasure to welcome you. Thank you so much for visiting.”
The high-priced hobby is reportedly a major hit within the family, with Kanye and ex-wife Kim Kardashian both previously spotted taking their children to the same shop for high-end trading card hauls.
